EPRS event: How will AI change humanity? Exploring social and political implications of our futures

Artificial Intelligence has the potential not only to reshape the economy and society, but to change humanity itself. It also has huge political implications, as algorithms can have the effect of polarising content and discussion. Vladimir SUCHA, the former Director General of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC), has recently produced a landmark report on Humans and societies in the age of artificial intelligence for the Commission. He will present his findings and thinking to a panel of experts and commentators introduced by Eva KAILI, MEP, Chair of the STOA Panel.
