EP60. Power Women: Breaking the Sports’ Glass Ceiling

Learn the best leadership styles and practices from four power women behind Philippine National Sports Associations.

In support of #internationalwomensday which is globally celebrated every March 8 of the year, Rise Up! Shape Up! will feature Ms. Karen T. Caballero, president of Philippine Sepak Takraw Association, Inc.; Ms. Ada Milby, president of the Philippine Rugby Football Union, Inc.; Ms. Teresita Uy, president of the Philippine Canoe Kayak Dragonboat Federation - PCKDF; and Ms. Cynthia Carrion, president of the Philippine Gymnastics Association of the Philippines.

These four power women continue to take the lead in breaking gender disparity in the world of sports by pioneering their respective sports associations to achieve worldclass successes. The special webisode is aptly titled “Power Women: Breaking the Sports Glass Ceiling”. Commissioner Celia H. Kiram, another inspiring and influential woman sports leader, will have her regular segment Kwentong-Isport. Meanwhile, Dr. Marissa Guinto will also share her insights on the psychology of balancing genders.
