Egerton University staff down tools over failure y management to implement CBA

Egerton University staff have downed their tools over allegations of failure by the management to implement the 2017/2021 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The staff have accused the management of high-handedness by slashing their salaries and benefits and also failing to resolve the standoff.
Kenya University Staff Union (KUSU) chairperson Benjamin Kipchumba says they will not relent in fighting for what they believe is their right.

The move coming just days after University union officials issued a 2-day notice to the University. The union officials are demanding full payment of their dues to their members.
