Effective Governance for Community Woodlands

This free online workshop was hosted by CWA and led by James Hilder, Director of Sunart Community Company and former CEO of Mull and Iona Community Trust.
It was designed to support Directors / Trustees of community woodland groups to run their organisations efficiently, effectively and responsibly using principles and processes of good governance.
Topics covered included:
• Understanding legal responsibilities;
• Ensuring boards are representative of their communities;
• Recruitment & induction processes for new board members;
• Managing and supporting staff.
