About the speakers:

Jason Anderson
Jason has spent over 25 years in technology development, mostly at Microsoft where he led several enterprise cloud services including Linux/OSS and MySQL. His journey with blockchain began in 2018 when he led the team to build Azure Blockchain Service at Microsoft. Shortly after, he brought blockchain capabilities to the traditional database market with Azure SQL Database ledger. He is now with ConsenSys and is leading product for Quorum Blockchain Service, the successor to Azure Blockchain Service.

Marc Mercuri
Marc Mercuri leads the QBS Business Unit at ConsenSys, where he leads a portfolio of blockchain services and developer tooling. Prior to ConsenSys, Marc followed leadership roles in several startups with 18 years at Microsoft. While there, he focused on emergency technology and scenarios, in roles spanning innovation, strategy, and product management. Marc led and launched multiple blockchain PaaS services and pro code/low code development tools. These included Azure Blockchain Workbench, Azure Blockchain Service, Azure Blockchain Tokens, Azure Blockchain Developer Kit and a VS Code Extension for Ethereum. He led executive briefing sessions with CxOs and ISVs from every industry, and personally led relationships that resulted in high profile projects and products with customers ranging from 3M to Starbucks and partners like SAP.
