[DSC Europe 21] Process Optimization: Dive into Process Mining - Roko Gudic

Published
This talk was part of the DSC Europe 21 track "Data-Driven Digital Transformation", held on November 21st-25th.

Process mining is an analytical discipline for discovering, monitoring, and improving processes as they actually are and not as you think they might be. As Wikipedia defines it; 'Process mining is a family of techniques relating the fields of data science and process management to support the analysis of operational processes based on event logs. The goal of process mining is to turn event data into insights and actions.' What this actually means is that it's possible to use your 'not-so-sexy' event logs from disparate systems and turn them into cost-saver and efficiency-booster.
