As key actors in public policies that enable economic, social and environmental transitions, state-owned enterprises should be efficient, transparent, and accountable. They should reinforce integrity and support economic stability.

As providers of public services, implementers of industrial policy, infrastructure or transport, state-owned enterprises play a major role in the attainment of sustainable development goals.
