Day 1 Session 5: ‘Why conservation and development are mutually reinforcing in Key Landscapes?’

The EU-funded NaturAfrica is a people-centred biodiversity initiative, where conservation of high-biodiversity sites and development of local communities in Key Landscapes for Conservation and Development (KLCD) are mutually reinforcing. This session will illustrate the concept in Mali, Chad and Ghana by field organisations. The event involved speakers from technical partners in the field, as well as representatives from the EU and one of the region’s protected area authorities.
