Data Governance in the Community Services Sector

This session, recorded on 4 April 2023, explores elements of data governance in the community services sector. We discuss concepts including the Five Safes Framework and hear from guest speakers from the community services sector on how they navigate issues around client consent, privacy and confidentiality and governance of data projects.

This in-depth discussion was joined by guest speakers: Cleo Gardiner & Luke Coffey from Queensland Positive People (QPP). QPP highlight their processes regarding auditing of data and secure data management of identifiable, personal and health information. They discuss how they incorporate consumer voice and clinical oversight through their Community and Clinical Advisory Groups.
