Creo 9 - Top Enhancements

Published
Creo 9 helps you deliver your best designs in less time, with improvements to make every day more productive and every product more innovative.
- New customer-driven usability and productivity enhancements will help streamline your daily work. The model tree has been improved, to make it easier to structure, document and understand design intent, and a new divide surfaces function allows for even better analysis and definition.
- Enhanced digital product definition tools help you advance your MBD and detailing activities. Semantic surface finish symbols are compliant with the latest ASME/ISO standards, providing more information for downstream users.
- Your team will appreciate the enhancements to ergonomics design and vision analysis tools. Now you can customize manikin dimensions, with easier manipulation of manikin postures. There are even new tools available to analyze manikin sight and field of view.
- Improve your products with enhanced simulation and generative design tools. CSL adds multi-physics analysis, so you can simulate structural and thermal performance simultaneously. Creo Ansys Simulation and Creo Flow Analysis are more powerful and easier to use. And you can now use generative design with safety factor and modal optimization, to achieve the desired frequency response of the specified material.
- There are valuable CAM improvements, for both additive and traditional manufacturing. In additive manufacturing, you will find improvements to stochastic and formula-based lattices, as well as user-defined support structures. Updates to subtractive manufacturing include enhancements in 5-axis finishing toolpaths, turning, and mold design, as well as adaptive feed rates for milling.
These are just a few of the many improvements that make this our best Creo ever.
