President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. welcomes Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), in a courtesy call at the Study Room in Malacañan Palace on October 25, 2022.

Dr. Ghebreyesus is in the Philippines to attend the 73rd WHO Western Pacific Regional Committee Meeting (WPRCM) being held in Manila from October 24-28, 2022.

Joining the WHO Director-General are WHO Chef de Cabinet Dr. Catharina Boehme and Director of Programme Management Dr. Corinne Capuano of WHO Western Pacific Regional Office.

President Marcos Jr. is accompanied in the courtesy call by Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Secretary Antonio Lagdameo Jr. and Department of Health (DOH) Officer-In-Charge (OIC) Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire.
