COORDINATED BORDER MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP

The Special Secretariat of the Internal Revenue Service of Brazil, with the support of the World Bank, will promote the WORKSHOP ON COORDINATED BORDER MANAGEMENT, where national and international speakers will present the experiences of bodies that operate in the control of people and goods borders.

More than 27 years after the beginning of the implementation of the Integrated Control Areas (ICA), it is desirable and advisable to evaluate the real advances obtained with the use of this integrated control mechanism so that the lines of action aimed at enhance the facilitation of legitimate international trade.

In this way, the Workshop will work for an environment for thinking over the future of the management of the integrated controls carried out in the Integrated Control Areas maintained by the MERCOSUR States Parties.
