Some Q&As from the webinar:
Is enrolment for the course ongoing?
Yes, enrolment for the course is ongoing and you can purchase via the following link: https://www.westminster.ac.uk/business-and-management-short-courses/conflict-management-skills
What is the time commitment from our managers?
The course itself takes around 2-4 hours typically, however there is no time limit on this, so learners can spread out their learning to suit their schedule across the 12 months of initial access.
Is the course locked to a single device?
No, you can use a computer, smart phone or tablet to access this course, with the ability to log off on one device and log in on another.
What level is the course pitched at?
The course was primarily designed for first line managers with little previous training. HR practitioners and more experienced managers should have at least some knowledge of the course content. However, our research found that the course (and particularly the toolkit) helped to reinforce knowledge and provided a basis for further in-house learning and development.
What is the conflict management style assessment?
Our conflict management style assessment is adapted from a validated inventory developed by Rahim (1983), which was a key part of the research methodology used in the original Skilled Managers research.
