Interested in playing a role in people’s training, development, and success in the workplace? Join us as we connect with an industry expert on preparing and exploring pathways into a career in Human Resources.

Career Learning Communities (CLC) are career-industry-focused groups, chosen by each ATA Scholar during their first semester at UHD. CLCs provide students with a supportive environment to build career-specific skills and competencies. CLC activities can be led by a variety of qualified individuals in various formats to give students insight and guidance on career-making decisions. Our CLC Connections are informal classroom-based discussions focused on homing in on building career competencies by connecting students to professionals. We invite them to share their career and educational journeys, a typical workday, the education requirements, the soft skills need to be successful in their career endeavors. This is an opportunity for transfer students to speak with someone whose career choice interests them and to explore avenues they may not have considered before.
