Dr Arulmozhi Varman is the driving force behind Uma Eye Clinic, which is famed for the largest number of Multifocal IOL's successfully completed in India.
He is the pioneer in Phacoemulsification in India and has been invited to perform and teach Phacoemulsification in various countries across the world.
He is a man who is constantly revolutionizing the field of eye care in India. He is a man with many talents who also wants to give back to society and thus founded the Vision Foundation and Eye Bank to further this cause.

Mrs Uma Varman, a professionally trained hospital administrator and is the soul behind Uma Eye Clinic, efficiently managing all departments and facilities.
A multi-talented person, she has also won several recognitions for Uma Eye Clinic including the ISO 9001: 2008 certification.
Vision Foundation the Community outreach wing of Uma Eye Clinic which conducts eye camps in slums and villages around Chennai is her brainchild. Under this banner, an average of 30 eye camps are conducted every month and over 100 surgeries are performed free for the unaffordable.
