Careers in Disaster and Emergency Management I Moving Forward

This webinar featured York graduates in leadership roles on the front lines of disaster and emergency response and management. In addition to discussing their journeys from graduation to their current roles, this notable panel talked about their involvement and responses to events such as the Northeast blackout of 2003, hydro vault explosion in Toronto and natural disasters abroad such as Haiti earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Some great advice and tips were given around how to get into the area of Disaster and Emergency Management once you graduate.
