Climate Change & Business: The Role of Nature & Challenges of Decarbonisation

Business Schools for Climate Leadership (BSCL) is a substantive collaboration of eight founding leading European business schools, joining together to help business leaders combat the climate crisis facing the planet. As educators and researchers – as well as leading voices and stewards of powerful alumni bodies – they will work together to incite, support, and mobilise their many stakeholders to protect humanity.

This conversation, entitled Climate Change & Business: The Role of Nature & Challenges of Decarbonisation is one of a series of webinars hosted by the founding business schools and features Cambridge Judge Business School and HEC, Paris who explore two themes:

Jennifer Howard-Grenville, Diageo Professor of Organisation Studies at Cambridge Judge Business School, explores the connections between climate change and nature whilst considering the importance of nature’s value to business and society.

Daniel Halbheer, Associate Professor of Marketing and Academic Director of the Climate and Earth Center, Society & Organizations Institute, HEC Paris, explores the role of consumers and policy makers in decarbonising business.

Igor Shishlov, Consultant at Perspectives shares his experience on decarbonisation from a business perspective.

The conversation was moderated by Mike Rosenberg, Professor of the Practice of Management in the Strategic Management Department of IESE Business School.
