Bridging the CTE General Education Divide

Published
People are currently reevaluating what they want in a career and considering new paths to achieve those goals. Just as many people are reimagining their future, we in the field of Career & Technical Education need to reimagine the pathways through education to careers that we create and offer.

Join WestEd and learn new tools to help redefine the paths that students take to reach their goals. By articulating new connections between majors, careers, and skills, CTE practitioners will be equipped to provide better advising, curricula, and relationships with students, so that students will then be supported to find fulfilling careers. The session will begin with the reimagining of pathways to business management careers. Participants will then review data tools that provide new insights into relationships between disciplines, courses, skills, and family-sustaining careers. "
