BOU governor optimistic about oil and gas sector growth

The acting Bank of Uganda Governor Michael Atingi Ego has expressed optimism at the pace of progress in the Oil and Gas sector, assuring international investors of the country's good micro-economic stability. His call came as he toured the Kingfisher Oilfields in Kyangwali Sub-County, Kabalega International Airport in Kabaale Sub-County, and the Oil Waste Management Plant at Ikamiro Kyangwali, being managed by the National Enterprise Corporation NEC of the UPDF. He added that the construction of the Oil Refinery at Kabalega Industrial Park in Hoima will help increase the Country’s Foreign exchange earnings and the growth of the associated petrochemicals industry. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition
