Behind the Headlines Israel under new Management, can Bibi become Israel Prime Minister once again?

Published
In this week’s Behind The Headlines, we will be discussing how Israel is under new management as the coalition government led by Naftali Bennett has collapsed as they have lost their majority. Naftali Bennett’s own political party Yamina left the government forcing a fifth general election in three and half years.

Israel’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, now becomes Israel’s fourteenth Prime Minister and is known as the Israeli Boris Johnson. Lapid also represents the first centre left prime minister since Ehud Barak won the general election back in 1999.

We will be asking how will Israel be governed over the next few months under Yair Lapid until the scheduled elections in November? We shall also be asking the big question in Israeli politics are we about to see the return of Benjamin Netanyahu to the centre stage of Israeli politics once again?
