Over the last 3 years the leadership team at the Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center's University Hospital and Ross Heart Hospital have undergone a transformational journey towards a team-based culture. This robust strategy includes the development of a formal triad leadership model, operational excellence training, and team-based coaching. A team-based culture is foundational to high-performance and sustainable results. The leadership team leveraged literature, open-access content, and a pragmatic approach to coaching that has shown an impact across five aspects of high-performing teams: trust, conflict, commitment, accountability, and results. In this webinar, the presenters will provide an overview of the work completed to plan and implement a team-based coaching approach, cite examples of specific content included in team settings, share outcomes of the work and provide thoughts on next steps in their organization’s leadership culture-shaping journey.
