Hello everybody, and welcome back to another unboxing video. My name is Mark, and today we're gonna be going over an ARO SD10 FDA sanitary compliant pump. Let's get to it.

This diaphragm pump contains an air side called the air motor. This part creates the motion needed to drive the diaphragms. Diaphragm pumps contain two styles of valves, the major valve, and the pilot valve. The major valve controls airflow to the diaphragm chambers and the pilot valve supplies an air charge that shifts the unbalanced major valve. The pump operates and contains the usual diaphragm components such as ball valves, seats, and inlet and outlet ports. The SD series design yields 20 to 30% better flow rate than other brands. The 316 Lima electro-polished material helps ensure product purity and easy cleanout. The Tri-Clamp and quick knot-down design facilitates rapid disassembly and reassembly for components for faster inspections, cleaning, and maintenance.

The primary industries for FDA applications include process transfer, ingredient and batch applications, CIP cleaning chemistry, food and beverage, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and specialty chemicals. This pump can be used in any application that requires high levels of sanitary measures that do not want long periods of downtime.
