An update on Governance at the Royal Aeronautical Society

Published
The Royal Aeronautical Society is making some changes to how it is governed. In 2022, proposals were developed by the ‘Governance Review Steering Group’ which had representatives from across the Society. It was vital that all members were given the opportunity to be involved in this process, which is why we asked for, and were grateful to receive lots of feedback.

In this video, presented by Air Cdre Peter Round, FRAeS, President of the Royal Aeronautical Society, he outlines the four broad areas of changes that we are planning to make. The changes proposed will help make the Society more open, fair and flexible. It will enable all paying members to have a say in key decisions ensuring a more democratic Society for all our members.
