Welcome and in this video, I am going to share tips, notes, and some of my practice suggestions for preparing AIA exam. Dilip Khatri, principal of Khatri International Structural and Civil Engineers, holds a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the University of Southern California and has more than 30 years of experience in the field, including more than 20 years of teaching structural engineering.

The AIA (American Institute of Architects) is a professional architectural organization in the United States dedicated to promoting architecture and providing resources to aspiring and seasoned architects. Their goal is to use good design to effect positive change not only in American architecture but also around the world. By following these laws, the organization has safeguarded both the integrity of architecture as a profession and the prestige of AIA.

The AIA exam consists of nine modules, of which the structure is only one. Practice examinations in your study groups are the best approach to pass the test. When you meet together, you practice tests and work on various types of solutions. Share your solutions with your study group, then go back and practice some more until you pass your tests. Once you pass your tests, you can move on to the next level.

The AIA has a number of materials to help you pass the exam and acquire your architect stamp. Passing the Architect Registration Examination lets you practice architecture professionally in any of the 50 states in the United States. The exam assesses your understanding of your professional obligations as an architect, which includes safeguarding the public's health, safety, and welfare. Before you can be called an architect, you must pass the ARE and obtain your state license.

Passing the Architect Registration Exam is one of the key prerequisites for becoming a licensed architect. The exam prepares you for professional practice in the United States by covering six practice areas: practice management, project management, programming and analysis, project planning and design, project development and documentation, and construction evaluation.

Keep in mind that while you prepare to take a test. Your initial goal on any exam and specifically the AIA structural exam should be to pass, but it's also a good idea to attempt to prepare yourself for your profession. If you pass, you can broaden your talents and advance your career.
