Focusing on strategy over tactics, this game has you making the big decisions instead of getting caught up with busywork. Competitive matches pit you against the computer or other leaders online and a big point is that these rounds don't take exorbitant amounts of time to complete. We are of course busy rulers. There's also 8 handmade maps that take you around the world, 52 empires to choose from, and a data driven AI that doesn't cheat to compete, along with single and multiplayer game modes.

Now I'm going to show you the ropes of how to manage your own empire, but those other nations can get tricky, so let's see if we can put them in their place while we're at it.
