2 Northeast Ohio organizations join forces to provide resources to those in need of a 2nd chance

"It's your first choice for a second chance."

That's the slogan for Achieve Staffing, powered by Towards Employment. With more than 40 years of combined experience, the two Northeast Ohio organizations have teamed up to help people from all walks of life, including those looking for a second chance.

"I was very negative, you know?" recalled Jon, a success story from Achieve Staffing and Towards Employment's efforts. "I was going out the wrong way and now I'm back on track. ... I'm doing good."

In 2021, the organizations combined to help more than 100 Clevelanders like Jon get a second chance.

"We provide case management to help them address any employment barriers they may be faced with whether it's housing, whether it's child care, whether it's substance abuse," Ronnie Cannon, Toward Employment's community engagement manager, said.
