Sky News host Chris Kenny calls for an inquiry and “action” into Australia’s big two airlines owning airport slot management companies.
“It is all over now, it is back to Qantas and Virgin ruling the skies between our major routes,” Mr Kenny said.
“This arrangement with airport slots seems blatantly anti-competitive … if one of the main impediments to aviation competition is airport slots, how can the big two airlines be allowed to own the company that manages the slots?”
